Tired of choosing Twisted Fate? Struggling to climb with Pandora’s Box? It may be time to make a change in your legend choice.

Twisted Fate is by far the most popular legend choice in Teamfight Tactics (TFT) currently. It allows for players to always look to make the best items possible by selecting Pandora's Items, regardless of augment tier. However, this could be making games less fun to play or causing a tougher climb. Forcing the best items possible has always been a beginner's mistake in TFT, and a change of pace with these legends could help your case. Instead of snap picking Pandora's Items, these three legends could help you choose combat power augments that can influence more wins than losses!

Legend #1: Poro

This legend offers no tailoring at all and makes sure you consider all of your options before selecting the best one. It is perfect for flexible gameplay and allows you to experience the widest variety of augments.

Legend #2: Master Yi

All of the tailored augments for this legend lend itself to auto-attack based compositions which are particularly strong in the meta. The options will always give you scaling combat power that is very beneficial to those carries. These include carry options of Tristana, Aphelios, Azir, or Zeri for late-game situations.

Be aware that the 2-1 selection gives more power the longer the game goes. This means the silver-tailored augment at 2-1 is the most enticing and should make for the easiest choice when offered. However, the prismatic version should be avoided because you will have to compete with other players' prismatic-level augment strength early. Additionally, you should often consider selecting the 3-2 tailored option unless offered something else more beneficial. Unfortunately, the 4-2 tailored augment isn't currently very strong. It will most likely be optimal to choose something else during that selection period.

Legend #3: Ornn

If you enjoy selecting the items you have for your units instead of leaving things up to chance, then this legend is perfect for you. Having the Ornn item in the early game is a very powerful addition to your board's strength. It is very likely you always take the 2-1 tailored augment and often take the 3-2 tailored augment. For the 4-2 augment, you'll want to select it if it's silver or prismatic, but heavily consider your options when the gold version is offered.

Selecting these three TFT legends instead of Twisted Fate will also encourage you to slam items as you receive them rather than waiting for perfect itemization. Always keep in mind TFT is a game played from start to finish and is not just your late-game board!
