Having a friend or two with you is never a bad thing in the galaxy far, far away. That's why so many are wondering if Star Wars Outlaws has any sort of multiplayer or co-op options. If you're one, then we are sorry to disappoint you. It is single player only.

While Star Wars Outlaws is the first open-world game in the history of the iconic franchise, there are no multiplayer elements. If you watch anyone play it or look at the listings on console, Epic Games Store, or Ubisoft Connect, they all mention as a single player game.

This means there is no co-operative mode, PvP game modes, or even a chance to run into other scoundrels as you travel around the Star Wars universe. It is an entirely narrative focused single player story for gamers to enjoy.

Will there every be co-op or multiplayer?

Unless there is a sequel, don't expect Ubisoft to include any co-op or multiplayer capabilities for Star Wars Outlaws. There's just no indication from the developers or publisher that a multiplayer mode for the game is coming.

They've dished out a roadmap and have spoken at length regarding what's to come with the game's Season Pass. None of that includes a co-op mode or multiplayer option for players to enjoy.

It will increase the life within the open world of Star Wars Outlaws, however. There are multiple story packs arriving to expand the activity in the title. You'll, of course, have to enjoy it alone, but it gives you a reason to return to the game.
