Rocket League is made merrier with community events during the offseason. Here’s everything we know about the upcoming events.

The Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) is coming back later than last season. But no fret! During the offseason, there are many tournaments waiting for us organized by the best in the community. The Rocket League events are here to keep up the excitement and give us a glimpse on what to come in 2024.

Here is a quick brief on all of the exciting off-season community events happening, including information on dates and formats.

CRL Fall Semester

The Collegiate Rocket League's (CRL) Fall Semester will showcase the best of collegiate Rocket League in North America. This will be the last CRL Split before heading into a new season.

Format

  • 3v3 mode
  • 32 teams: 16 from the Eastern Conference and 16 from the Western Conference
  • The top six teams from both the Eastern and Western Conferences will advance to the Fall Championship

Prize Pool

The Fall Semester will award $100,000 in scholastic awards.

Salt Mine 3

Johnnyboi and Chalked Cast are here once again to bring back the best 1v1 action in the Rocket League scene with Salt Mine 3. There will be tournaments leading to the European and North American Grand Finals. The Rocket League event will start in early October and end in December 2023.

  • 1v1 mode
  • Two tournaments on different servers
  • Twelve players per tournament
  • Each tournament has three stages that lead to the Grand Final
  • Each stage has a Group Stage and an AFL Playoff Bracket

Prize Pool

Total prize pool will be $100,000 USD with $12,500 USD for Stage 1 and Stage 2 and $25,000 for each final.

The Draw: Season 2

The Draw by Rizzo and Jamesbot is coming back for Season 2. We will get to see top teams in North America compete in a series of events starting from October 2023 until January 2024.

  • 3v3 mode
  • Four events with two Open Qualifiers and a Main Event for each event
  • Twelve teams from qualifiers and four invited teams will join the Main Event

Prize Pool

A total of $56,000 USD with $14,000 USD per event.

Star Chasers Showdown

Raidiant is here with another exciting event featuring the top Rocket League players in the North American and European women's scenes. The Star Chasers Showdown will start soon in mid-October 2023. Check out more information on the tournament and how to register on Raidiant's Discord server.

The Gauntlet

The Gauntlet is back with the fifth season in the RLCS offseason. The top teams in Oceania will compete in a six-week tournament to determine the best team in the region. You can check out more information on how to register for The Gauntlet on the RL Oceania's website.

Regional Rumble

Asia Pro League (APL) Esports is organizing a series of 15 bi-weekly tournaments across APAC, MENA, and SSA regions. Each region will then wrap up the Rocket League event with their respective Regional Rumble. You can check out more information on Regional Rumble on the APL Esports website.

Tactical Banditry is back with another iteration of Bandits on Wheels for the North American crowd. The Fall Showdown will feature six Rocket League events with Open Qualifiers and 16-team Main Events. You can check out more details and registration information over here.
