This armor will turn you into a bloodthirsty camper that the cultists will fear!

Get to know everything about how the Vampire Cloak works in 99 Nights in the Forest, including how you can get one even if you don’t own the Vampire Class.

When it comes to survival, armor is just as important as weapons in the game. Since you need to collect resources and defend your camp, you’ll frequently find yourself in situations where you need to absorb some damage from hostile NPCs, such as wolves, bears, and cultists.

One of the newest armors right now is the Vampire Cloak, which you can obtain at the start of the game if you purchase the Vampire Class for 600 Diamonds. Here’s how this armor compares to others in 99 Nights in the Forest.

When equipped, the Vampire Cloak provides the wearer with an armor rating equivalent to that of a Leather Body. Sounds weak, right? But hear me out.

While it’s undeniably bad at reducing the damage you’ll receive from enemies, it enables you to have a blood meter. This meter fills up every night or if you deal damage.

Once the meter is full, you’ll restore your health bar by a small amount — perfect for defending camps at night or surviving the onslaught of The Deer or The Ram.

When paired with the Vampire Class and the Vampire Scythe, your character will turn into a life-stealing combatant capable of taking down multiple cultists in a few blows. Despite having low armor, you can still overcome foes with your high regeneration output.

How to get the Vampire Cloak without the Vampire Class

The Vampire Cloak is one of the three possible rewards you’ll get from opening a Vampire Chest, which is hidden at the end of the Hedge Maze.

To unlock the Hedge Maze, you have to acquire three Tickets, each of which can be obtained by completing the three games at the Carnival.

Bring Medkits, Cake, and strong weapons like a Morningstar or Rifle with sufficient ammo before entering the maze, as you’ll likely find Alpha Wolves inside. Move carefully and avoid running as much as possible, since it can attract more wolves and make things harder once you reach the Vampire Chest.
