Get to know the best races to use in The Forge!
Having the best races is the key to getting better ores and farming money in Roblox’s hit crafting and action game, The Forge. At the time of writing, there are a total of 13 available races in the game, and you’ll have varying chances of getting them by spending race rerolls.
Each race offers unique perks that affect mining and combat. To help you compare their strengths, we created two tier lists that show which races perform best for specific purposes.
Race tier list for The Forge
Here’s what each tier means, so you can better understand how we ranked the races.

Best races for combat
These races increase your combat potential, either by providing additional damage or increasing your HP, so you can absorb heavier damage from enemies.

When it comes to fighting various enemies, nothing can stop the Dragonborn or Demon. Both of these races possess passive perks that automatically deal damage to nearby enemies. Pair those perks with a powerful weapon, and any hostile NPC should be dead in seconds.
Minotaur, Golem, and Angel are also solid pulls if you managed to get them during rerolls. The Angel, in particular, stands out as the most mobile race in the game, using its speed to dodge enemy attacks. Minotaur and Golem, on the other hand, have built-in defensive perks that allow them to deal lots of damage, especially when using heavy weapons.

These races excel in improving your chances of getting rarer or higher quantities of ores.

Dwarf is easily the best race for mining, as all of its perks focus on faster resource gathering. Since it is an Epic race, it is not too difficult to roll, so saving a race slot for Dwarf is a staple move for every player.

Angel and Elf are the closest alternatives to Dwarf thanks to their luck-boosting perks. Higher luck increases your chances of pulling rare ores from each rock. Since most races in The Forge focus on combat, keep these high-tier options in mind if your goal is efficient mining.
