Jandel continues to add more ways to obtain mutations in Grow a Garden, such as how players can get the Tempestuous Mutation.

Are you wondering how other yards in your server have the Tempestuous Mutation in Grow a Garden? This mutation is definitely not your regular mutation, as you just can’t turn your crops Tempestuous by simply waiting for a single weather system to occur.

This guide will show you the right and only way to get the Tempestuous Mutation in Grow a Garden, including how it affects the physical appearance and value of its affected crops.

To get Tempestuous crops, you’ll need to stack two specific mutations: Windstruck and Twisted. In other words, you create the Tempestuous Mutation by combining both Windstruck and Twisted, just like you form the Paradisal Mutation by fusing Sundried and Verdant.

Obtaining the Windstruck Mutation requires exposing your garden to the Windy weather system, which often takes place several times in a day. This is currently the most common weather system that happens in the game, so you should have no problem in turning your crops Windstruck.

The second mutation, Twisted, is a bit tricky to have, since you’ll need to wait for a Tornado to appear. Your crops will only get Twisted once a Tornado passes through them.

To catch the Tornado weather system in Grow a Garden, try joining Discord servers or livestreams that send out alerts for rare weather events, which are especially helpful when you're offline.

Tempestuous Multiplier and Effects

The Tempestuous Mutation in Grow a Garden has a x12 value multiplier, which is better than Frozen, Cloudtouched, Pollinated, and Choc if you want to earn more Sheckles.

In terms of aesthetics, the Tempestuous Mutation adds very little to the crops' appearance, as it only causes them to emit faint wind particles that are nearly invisible, especially when the crops already have other mutations.
