Here’s an easy trick that you can try to earn thousands of Harvest Points with just a single type of crop.

Are you struggling to get even the uncommon rewards in Grow a Garden’s Summer Harvest Event? No matter how rare your summer crops are, this Summer Update event focuses more on the quantity of fruits you submit rather than their quality.

If you’re only holding a few Loquats or Sugar Apples, you might still fall short on Harvest Points. So, if you still can’t unlock some Summer Harvest rewards like the Summer Seed Packs or a Honey Sprinkler, read on!

The Summer Harvest Event is one of the new features introduced during the game’s recent Summer Update. This event starts every hour or once the countdown timer at the Summer Harvest cart reaches zero.

At the beginning of the Summer Harvest Event, summer fruits will start appearing in the sky, and the countdown timer of the cart changes from zero to 10 minutes. During this 10-minute countdown, you and other players in your server can submit summer crops to the cart to earn Harvest Points.

The more crops you and other players submit, the more Harvest Points you’ll get. Reaching a particular amount of Harvest Points can unlock a variety of rewards.

Getting more Harvest Points using the Tomato Method

Each summer fruit grants a specific amount of Harvest Points. While rare crops like Prismatic, Divine, and Mythical varieties yield higher points, their long regrowth times make them less practical for submission during the Summer Harvest Event.

So, what most players do nowadays is to get as many Harvest Points as possible by doing the Tomato Method. This trick involved filling out an entire plot with a massive number of Tomato crops.

In Grow a Garden, tomatoes can often be stacked in the same spot, letting you plant multiple crops in a small area. They also produce fruit much faster, making it easier to complete more harvest runs and submit more summer crops to the event cart.

The Tomato Method, while highly effective for maximizing Harvest Points, may require you to remove or relocate some of your existing crops using a Trowel or Shovel, especially if you don't have any vacant plots available.

You can also consider planting strawberries and blueberries instead, but tomatoes are still the better choice since they provide more Harvest Points per crop (a Strawberry gives out 1 Harvest Point, 2 for a Blueberry, and 3 for a Tomato).

Teamwork pays off. By encouraging other players in the server to do the Tomato Method with you, you can easily rack up over 10,000 Harvest Points before the event concludes.
