The Gourmet Egg is a type of Pet Egg that is only obtainable from Chris P., the main NPC for the Cooking Update.

Checking the thought balloon above Chris P. will give you an idea about his current craving. Furthermore, if you can get the right recipe and cook a meal that Chris P. is craving, he can reward you with random items, with one of them being the Gourmet Egg.

Ideally, you should feed Chris P. with Prismatic meals that he craves, since Gourmet Eggs are quite rare and are only available in the Legendary and Prismatic tiers of the event’s rewards. Also, try to provide larger crops as ingredients, as this increases the quantity of rewards you can earn.
