Xurkitree is absolutely worth raiding for too. It is the second best Electric-type Pokémon in the Pokémon GO, only bested by Shadow Raikou. This makes Xurkitree a better Electric-type than the likes of Zekrom, Mega Manectric, Zapdos and more.
Additionally, new for this years Pokémon GO Fest events, Xurkitree can now be shiny. There will never be a better time to go after this Pokémon.

The only non-Ground-type Pokémon on the list is Mega Rayquaza. While it does not directly counter Xurkitree's weakness, it is an incredibly powerful Pokémon. If you don't have a Primal Groudon, then Mega Rayquaza could be a good choice.
