If you have been playing the new Pokémon Legends: Z-A game, then you have probably encountered a Colorful Screw or two (or quite a few). The new item can be found scattered across Lumiose City and has an extremely unique feature. So, what are Colorful Screws? And what can players do with them?

What are Colorful Screws in Pokémon Legends: Z-A?

Have a few Colorful Screws in the new Pokémon Legends: Z-A game, but have zero idea what to do with them? The new item has become increasingly popular with players, but many are confused about what purpose they serve.

These screws can be used as currency in the game to collect Canari Plushies. What are Canari Plushies? These cute plushies give players buffs, such as increased XP gain, better prize money and a higher chance of finding Mega Shards.

To exchange your Colorful Screws in the game, you just have to head to Racine Construction and talk to the front desk. This is the same place you exchange Mega Shards.

So, where do you find Colorful Screws in Pokémon Legends: Z-A?

Where to find Colorful Screws

Finding Colorful Screws in Pokémon Legends: Z-A is easy. All you have to do is look for the purple beams shooting into the sky, signifying a purple Poké Ball (no, not a Master Ball).

These purple Poké Balls contain Colorful Screws and are littered throughout Lumiose City. However, they are in specific areas and not just in random spots.

First, you will need to locate the small construction sites that are found throughout the city. These areas look like the sites you see in cities when people are working on buildings. Then, you will have to climb and jump across the sites to get to the purple Poké Balls.

These little parkour obstacle courses can sometimes be difficult and even closer to a puzzle. However, at the end of each one is a Colorful Screw. Do you have what it takes to collect these screws?
