Scorbunny Pokémon GO March 2026 Community Day: Tips, tricks, Hundo CP

For March 2026’s Community Day event, Pokémon GO announces that it will feature Scorbunny, the Fire-type Rabbit Pokémon from Generation 8. 

While it’s not exactly the type of Pokémon that you can send in battles, capturing hundreds of it can get you the resources you need to power up any Cinderace you have, especially the ones who can Gigantamax in Max Battles.

The Scorbunny Community Day event is scheduled on March 14 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. local time. Other than that, here are the other important details that you need to learn if you’re planning to join your local Pokémon GO community for this event.

For a price of $2, you can maximize all the goodies that you can get by buying the March Community Day Special Research. This feature will unlock three sets of research tasks that you can complete with ease as you keep capturing Scorbunny, and they all reward massive amounts of Candies, Stardust, and XPs.

Throughout the event, evolving a Scorbunny until it becomes a Cinderace or evolving a Raboot into a Cinderace will give that Cinderace the Blast Burn move as its Charged Attack. All Cinderace during the event will also have the choice to learn the Charged Attack Pyro Ball.

While Scorbunny may occasionally return through other events, the March 2026 Community Day offers a rare opportunity with boosted odds of encountering its Shiny form. Since there’ll be Scorbunny anywhere you go, you’ll definitely encounter dozens of Shinies for this event.

For all Scorbunny that are captured as rewards from Research Tasks or Special Research Tasks, the Hundo CP to remember is 470 CP. Community Pokémon that are captured this way have predictable Hundo CPs since their levels are always the same.

Unfortunately, Pokémon caught in the wild can have varying levels, so there’s no way to tell if a wild Scorbunny is a Hundo apart from catching it and using the Appraise option.

If you already have a Gigantamax Cinderace, you certainly can’t miss this event since it’s the easiest way for you to max out its CP or unlock its Max Moves.
