Is it worth the $4.99?

This Premium Timed Research is a bit of a unique one in Pokémon GO. There are a lot of Pokémon encounters, all chosen for being highly popular in Pokémon GO PvP this season.

However, for lower PvP leagues you actually need worse IVs than you will get from these encounters. Usually most Pokémon need a low attack IV, then high HP and Defence IV's. These encounters will have a floor of 10/10/10. Some Pokémon however, like Carbink, are better with higher IVs.

With that said, one of the Pokémon GO PvP competitions in rotation right now is the Catch Cup. That PvP cup only allows Pokémon that have been caught this season to be used. That, combined with the 25,000 Stardust and Cresselia encounter probably does make this ticket worth it.

You'll have access to some great Pokémon you can use in PvP across this Battle Weekend. You never know, you might even get a hundo Cresselia!
