What Spotlight Hours can you expect in March 2025 in Pokémon GO?
March 2025 brings a new set of Pokémon GO Spotlight Hours. Once per week on a Tuesday, Trainers can encounter one specific featured Pokémon for an hour. There are also featured bonuses each week.
That makes Spotlight Hours a fantastic chance to get out and grind Pokémon GO. You can farm a lot of Stardust, XP, Candy, hunt shinies or even just grind for a specific type of one Pokémon.
Here are all the Spotlight Hours coming in March 2025.
When is the Pokémon GO Spotlight Hour?
All the March 2025 Spotlight Hours will take place in Pokémon GO on a Tuesday, between 6pm and 7pm local time. There will be a Spotlight Hour each Tuesday during February, and each one will have its own bonus.

March 4 - Makuhita & 2x Transfer Candy
The first of the March 2025 Spotlight Hours will feature Makuhita. Makuhita evolves into Hariyama, which is a decent budget Fighting-type Pokémon. This is a good option if you lack Fighting-type options, but otherwise a skippable Spotlight Hour.
March 11 - Roselia & 2x Evolution XP
Roselia was in a Spotlight Hour not too long ago, but returns once more. If you aren't that excited about Roselia's return, you can rack up a decent amount of XP by mass-evolving Pokémon in this Hour with a Lucky Egg also active.
March 18 - Shellder & 2x Catch Stardust
While the first two Spotlight Hours are a little bit underwhelming, March 18 is one of the best Spotlight Hours in Pokémon GO history. Shellder is one of the best boosted Stardust Pokémon, offering 1000 per catch. Add in the 2x Catch Stardust bonus, and you are up to 2000 Stardust per catch. This is boosted even further if you apply a Star Piece. Do not miss this Spotlight Hour.
March 25 - Cutiefly & 2x Catch XP
Finally, for those chasing XP in Pokémon GO, March 25 offers a 2x Catch XP on Cutiefly. This Pokémon can be shiny, and is decently easy to hit Excellent Throws on.
