The Pokémon GO Harvest Festival event is here once again, and so is a Premium Timed Research ticket that you can purchase in game. The ticket costs $1.99, but what do you get for that price?

Here are all the tasks and rewards in the Premium Timed Research, and a review of if it is worth that $1.99 price tag.

This Premium Timed Research expires on Tuesday, November 12 at 8pm local time. All the tasks associated with this Timed Research must be completed before then.

The Pokémon GO Harvest Festival Timed Research isn't as much as the usual $4.99 tickets that we're used too. So, evaluating if its worth it is a bit different. However, you also aren't getting a lot of Stardust or XP from the ticket.

What makes this Timed Research worth it or not is how badly you want a shiny Smoliv in Pokémon GO. If you're keen for the additional encounters, this research is absolutely worth it. You get 12 Smoliv encounters which gives you a decent amount of chances at a shiny. Additionally, with the bonuses around Mossy Lure modules during the Harvest Festival event, it won't hurt to have a couple extra in your bag too.

So, if you're desperate for shiny Smoliv, buy the ticket. If you're happy to wait or try your luck, maybe save your money this time.
