Spooky season means the return of the Little Edition of the Halloween Cup in Pokémon GO.
The Little Edition Halloween Cup is back in Pokémon GO PvP until October 22. Being the Little Edition, this version of the Halloween Cup has a max CP cap of 500. So, you'll need to really mix up the Pokémon that you're used to using in PvP.
Additionally, this cup has 4x Stardust from win rewards, so prepare to farm Stardust all week long.
The Pokémon GO Halloween Cup Little Edition only allows Poison, Big, Fairy, Ghost and Dark-type Pokémon. All members of your team must have at least one of these types. This is in addition to the 500 CP cap.
So, what are some of the best Pokémon you can use to rack up victories in the Pokémon GO Halloween Cup Little Edition?
What is the best team for the Pokémon GO Halloween Cup Little Edition?
It's hard to always say there is a one size fits all best team for any single Pokémon GO PvP Cup or League. After all, Pokémon GO PvP is all about counters, specific movesets and thinking outside the box to get one up on your opponent. So bear that in mind.
However, statistically the best team for the Pokémon GO Halloween Cup is Shuckle, Marill and Clodsire.
This team gives you a good range of type coverage, with these Pokémon having a range of moves in a range of categories. In addition, Shuckle is just a total beast with an insane amount of bulk.

There are lots of options to choose from for this PvP Cup. However, the Little Cup aspect will make it tricker than it seems to find good Pokémon to use. A lot of these Pokémon can spawn (or their pre-evolutions) way above 500 CP. Tracking down lower level 'mons will be key.
Be warned that while several Shadow Pokémon are all very useful in the Fossil Cup, Shadow Pokémon are more expensive to power up, and much harder to get optimised IV values for. For a temporary PvP Cup, it might not be worth the investment.
However, using any of those Pokémon will stand you in good stead for your battles in the Halloween Cup Little Edition. Good luck out there Trainers!
