Here’s all the Pokémon coming to Max Mondays in August 2025.

Max Mondays are a relatively new weekly event in Pokémon GO, and they are continuing through August 2025. Each Monday, a different Dynamax Pokémon is featured across all Power Spots. This is a great chance to get out and grind as many Dynamax Max Battles as possible, focusing on a specific Pokémon. This takes place between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time.

With some big Gigantamax expected over the next few months, getting your hands on some good Dynamax Pokémon is really important. Here are all the Max Mondays in Pokémon GO coming during August 2025.

August 2025 Pokémon GO Max Mondays schedule

Here are all the Dynamax Pokémon featured during August 2025's Max Mondays. There is no Max Monday on August 18, due to the Dark Skies event which introduces special Max Battles.

August 4 - Omanyte

First up, following from Adventure Week, is the debut of Dynamax Omanyte. Omastar, it's evolution, is an okay Rock-type but isn't anything to write home about. This is a pretty skippable Max Monday, unless you are going after Dynamax Shinies.

August 11 - Trubbish

The second of the August 2025 Max Mondays in Pokémon GO is great for Stardust. It features Dynamax Trubbish. As an actual useful Pokémon, Garbodor isn't great but Trubbish is a heavily Stardust boosted Pokémon. So, you can rack up some really nice Stardust during this Max Monday.

August 25 - Chansey

Following on from the Max Finale event the previous weekend, we get a staple Pokémon from the Max Battle system. Dynamax Blissey, which evolves from Chansey, is a genuine must have. It has been useful for essentially every single debut and you should use this Monday to get your first, or upgrade your current, Dynamax Chansey.

September 1 - Pidove

Finally, although this is September, we also have Dynamax Pidove coming to the final August 2025 Max Monday. This isn't the Pokémon of all time, however, Unfezant is still one of the best Flying-type options we have at the moment. So, it doesn't hurt to have one in your locker incase we really need a Flying-type counter for a future Max Battle debut.
