Mega Lopunny is finally coming back to Pokémon GO Mega Raids, having not featured since all the way back in April 2023. You can take on Mega Lopunny in Raids from January 4 until January 16.

Mega Lopunny is a useful Mega Pokémon to have in your Pokémon GO collection, being a very rare Normal-type and Fighting-type. It is a decent Raid Attacker, but also provides unique coverage when you are looking for those Mega Level 3 bonuses. This can help you maximise bonuses during events.

So, you absolutely want some Mega Lopunny energy. Here's what you need to know before you take on this Mega Raid.

Mega Lopunny has a weakness to Fairy, Fighting, Flying and Psychic-type attacks in Pokémon GO. It has a double resistance to Ghost-type attacks, and a resistance also to Bug, Dark and Rock-type attacks.

There are lots of great counters for Mega Lopunny in Pokémon GO. The best by far is Mega Rayquaza.
