Take on Mega Beedrill in Pokémon GO with our Raid Guide.

Mega Beedrill is back in Pokémon GO Raids until November 27. This Mega Pokémon is one of the first you encounter in the game, and this is a good chance to stock up on Mega Energy while you can.

We're going to be completely honest, Mega Beedrill isn't useful at all in Raids. It it outclassed by Mega Scizor, Mega Pinsir and Mega Heracross in the Bug-type category. In the Poison-type category it is outclassed by Mega Gengar and Nihilego. However, both classes are weak and not often useful in the game.

However, you never know! It is always useful to have one of everything in your Pokémon GO collection, and Mega Beedrill does have a dual-typing which is good when you reach Mega Level 3.

So, here is everything you need to know to take on Mega Beedrill in Pokémon GO.

Outside of that, Mewtwo (or any Shadow Mewtwo) are also excellent choices. Reshiram, Yveltal and the two Necrozma fusion formes are all also good choices.

Even Heatran, or Shadow Heatran, will be a very viable option to take on this Raid.
