The next Pokémon GO Community Day will feature Litten. This will provide Pokémon GO Trainers the chance to encounter a shiny version of the Fire Cat Pokémon.
Litten Community Day takes place Saturday, March 16 from 1400-1700 local time.
This is a really exciting Community Day. Litten has an amazing shiny plus we have some fantastic bonuses. This is a great chance to meet up with your friends and play some Pokémon GO.
Litten Pokémon GO Community Day bonuses
The following bonuses will be in effect for trainers during Litten Community Day in Pokémon GO.
- 3x XP for catching Pokémon
- 2x Candy for catching Pokémon
- 2x chance for Trainers level 31 and above to receive Candy XL when catching Pokémon
- Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for 3 hours
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last for 3 hours
- One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day*
- Trades will require 50% less Stardust*
- Be on the lookout for Showcases at different PokéStops during Litten Community Day
- Take a few Snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!
(*) While most bonuses are only active during the event period, these bonuses will be active from 1400 to 2200 local time.
There will also be a $1 Research Ticket, Showcases and special item-bundles in the Pokémon GO Store.
Featured Pokémon: Litten
During the event times, Litten will be appearing much more frequently in the wild. You'll also have a increased chance of catching a Shiny Litten.
There will also be a featured move for evolving Litten. Any Torracat evolved into Incineroar during Litten's Pokémon GO Community Day will learn Blast Burn, a fire-type move. If you have any Incineroar already, the only way they can learn this move is through an Elite TM.

Litten Community Day: Pokémon GO Tips and Tricks
This is one of the most worthwhile set of bonuses in a Pokémon GO Community Day. Even if you're not a huge Litten fan, the Litten Community Day will be a great way to grind XP in Pokémon GO.
if you have Lucky Eggs, this event is a great time to use them. That would make the event up to 6x XP for catching Pokémon.
While there are lots of Candy bonuses already, there is a way to get extra Candy during the event. Mega Level Three Pokémon provide 2 extra catch Candy, and a 25% chance of Candy XL for their respective types.
Here are the Fire-type Pokémon you can Mega Evolve during Litten Community Day to get more Candy:
- Charizard (X or Y)
- Houndoom
- Blaziken
Don't forget some other easy tips:
- Don't catch Pokémon before the event starts. These Pokémon can turn into Litten.
- Spin as manu Pokéstops as possible, to get event specific Field Research as well as extra resources.
- Don't activate Lure's or Incense till the event starts to get the extra time.
