Trying to collect all three starters in Pokémon Legends: Z-A? Here is how you can get all the starters in the new Legends game.
Almost every Pokémon game, every mainstream one that is, gives players three starter Pokémon to choose from at the start. The Legends series is no different; however, they are not new starters, just an odd mix of old ones. While Pokémon Legends: Z-A gives us a solid three choices, many are wondering how to get the other starters later on in the game.
Here is how you can get all the starters in Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
How to get all the starters in Pokémon Legends: Z-A
At the beginning of the game, you have three Pokémon to choose from: Chikorita, Tepig and Totodile. Once you pick your starter Pokémon, the other two will be taken away. This is how it is in most Pokémon games.
Both Chikorita and Totodile are the original Gen 2 starters, and Tepig is from Gen 5. However, many players want to collect all three of these starter Pokémon, so they can evolve them to their final evolutions: Meganium, Emboar and Feraligatr.

So, how does a player collect all three of the starters? Well, the answer is quite simple. You have to beat the game.
Yes, I know that sounds tedious, especially for those who want to use the Pokémon throughout the main story. Unfortunately, however, the starter Pokémon that you did not choose will not be available to catch until the rolling credits have finished. Once the game is completed, a new Zone (Zone 20) will appear, where you can catch all three of the game's starter Pokémon.
However, there is one alternative way to get the starter Pokémon before you beat the game.
Trade
The only other way to collect all of Pokémon Legends: Z-A's starter Pokémon before the game is over is to trade with someone. To do this, you must have access to Link Play, which is not available until you complete the first Mable mission.

Then, you can access trading through Link Play and trade with someone who would be willing to give up their starter. This is a great way to complete your Pokédex, too.
Would you trade your starter Pokémon to help another player out? Or would you rather they complete the game, then be able to catch all three starters?
