Dusk Mane Necrozma will be in Pokémon GO Raids during GO Fest: Global on Sunday, July 14. This will be a chance to get your hands on both a Necrozma, and the Solar Fusion Energy you need to fuse it with Solgaleo.

Dusk Mane Necrozma is an incredibly powerful Pokémon. It has its signature move Sunsteel Strike, which comes with a special Adventure Effect. Additionally, that move makes it one of the most powerful Pokémon in the entire game. Don't miss out on grabbing as much Solar Fusion Energy as possible.

Dusk Mane Necrozma has a weakness to Dark, Fire, Ghost and Ground-type attacks. It has a whole host of resistances. Dusk Mane Necrozma has a double resistance to Poison and Psychic-types. Additionally, it has a single resistance to Dragon, Fairy, Flying, Grass, Ice, Normal, Rock and Steel-types.

That means having a targeted team that goes after Dusk Mane Necrozma's weaknesses is important, because it has so many resistances. Here are the best Dusk Mane Necrozma counters in Pokémon GO:

There are some really powerful Pokémon to choose from when you are taking on Dusk Mane Necrozma. If you already have a Dawn Wings Necrozma, perhaps from one of the in person GO Fests, it will come in very handy here.

Mega/Primal Evolutions like Primal Groudon, Mega Blaziken and Mega Tyranitar are all good options too. Additionally, even more common Pokémon GO spawns like Hydregion (evolves from Deino) are good picks against Dusk Mane Necrozma.

Dusk Mane Necrozma is a very powerful Pokémon. You'll need to make sure you have a good team of Trainers to take this Raid down. Not just so you win, but so you can win quickly. This will get you more Solar Fusion Energy and let you get more Raids in during GO Fest.

The minimum amount of Trainers you need to take on this Raid is three. However, aim for a group of at least five Trainers if you can.
