Best Palkia EX deck build in Pokémon TCG Pocket
Below are the cards needed for the Palkia EX deck in Pokémon TCG Pocket:
- Palkia EX 2x
- Manaphy 2x
- Eevee 2x
- Vaporeon 2x
- Dawn 2x
- Giant Cape 2x
- Mars 2x
- Professors Research 2x
- Misty 2x
- X Speed 2x
The deck revolves heavily around Palkia EX and its main move, Dimensional Storm. However, there is a thick strategy that needs to be performed correctly when using this deck. Let's break it down.
All Pokémon cards
This deck only includes eight Pokémon cards, all of which help strengthen Palkia. To begin, we have Palkia EX, two of them, to be exact. The card's main move does 150 damage to your opponent's Pokémon and 20 damage to each of your opponent's Benched Pokémon.
It is a heavy hitter, that is for sure.
However, the move requires you to discard three Water Energies from the Pokémon when the move is used, making it difficult to perform the next turn. However, we do have a few solutions to combating this issue.
First off, we included two Manaphy cards. This legendary Pokémon's only move lets you move two Water Energies from your Energy pile to two of your Benched Pokémon. We then included two Eevees and its Water-evolution, Vaporeon.
Vaporeon's ability lets you move as many Water-type Energies to your active Pokémon throughout your turn. That way you can use the extra Energy your Manaphy provided you and attach it to your Palkia EX.

All Trainer cards
This deck, like most of our deck builds, includes 12 Trainer cards. To begin, we included two Dawn cards, which is an essential Supporter card. This card lets you move an Energy from one of your Benched Pokémon to your Active Pokémon.
We then included Mars. Mars's ability requires your opponent to shuffle their hand into their deck and draw as many cards as points they need to win. This could literally force them down to only one card in their hand.
Another great Water Supporter card we included in Misty, as this gives you the chance to equip your Palkia with quite a few Water Energies.
The other Supporter cards included are Sabrina and Professor's Research.
We did include a Pokémon Tool card, too. The Giant Cape is great to have in a deck because it gives the Pokémon it is equipped with 20 extra health.
We then finished off the deck by including Poké Ball and X Speed.
Weak against
This deck is weak against Electric-type Pokémon decks. Beware of decks revolving around Pikachu EX or Luxray.
Strong against
This deck excels against Fire-type Pokémon decks. Infernape? Never heard of them, since they will be in the Discard Pile if going up against this Palkia EX deck.
