Ready to take on Blastoise EX in Pokémon TCG Pocket’s new event?

Pokémon TCG Pocket has dropped a new event in the Battle tab, and this one is focused around the infamous Blastoise. The event features various rewards and battles for players to participate in. Here is everything you need to know about Pokémon TCG Pocket's Blastoise event.

Blastoise event comes to Pokémon TCG Pocket

With Mythical Island taking over the game, Pokémon TCG Pocket has added an event that focuses on Blastoise and other cards you can get in the new pack.

With different levels included, players begin by competing against easier decks that do not include Blastoise EX. However, by the third deck, you have to compete against, Blastoise EX will make its appearance.

The final deck is quite strong, so prepare your best deck to fight against it.

All rewards in the Blastoise Pokémon TCG Pocket event

All decks reward players who win with Event Hourglasses, Shop Tickets, and Shinedust. Each deck also includes a promo pack given to winners, which can include various different new cards.

  • Blastoise EX
  • Volcarona
  • Cinccino
  • Eevee
  • Snivy

These promo cards will only be available during the event, so hurry up and play for them now.

Best strategy

When fighting these decks, it is important to remember that Electric-type Pokémon are incredibly strong against them. Decks centered around Pikachu EX will excel against these cards.

However, these Blastoise EX decks still have quite a bit of power. Blastoise EX itself can do upwards of 160 damage, making it the heavy hitter in this deck. Vaporean is also a featured card in these decks, as it lets you take Water Energy from a Benched Pokémon and attach it to Vaporeon.

Basically, it is quite easy for this deck to stock up on Energies quickly. Make sure you come prepared before fighting against them.
