If you have logged on to Pokémon TCG Pocket recently, you may have noticed a brand new event in the Missions tab called Mass Outbreak. What is this new section, though? And what should players know who want to participate in it?
Here is everything you need to know about the new Mass Outbreak event in Pokémon TCG Pocket.
Introducing Pokémon TCG Pocket's Mass Outbreak event
The new Mass Outbreak Missions tab seems to be a limited-time event, that will switch out different Pokémon types throughout the weeks. As of now, the event is focused on Lightning-type Pokémon.
So, what exactly is the Mass Outbreak in Pokémon TCG Pocket? Well, it focuses on one type of Pokémon with various challenges players have to complete for different rewards.
The event only lasts for a few days, and players are awarded Wonder Hourglasses and tickets. Complete every mission and you will get all the rewards.

Below is a list of all the Missions in the current Electric-type Pokémon Mass Outbreak event:
- Collect 1 Zapdos EX card
- Wonder pick 3 times
- Wonder pick 5 times
- Collect 5 Lightning-type cards
- Collect 10 Lightning-type cards
- Collect 15 Lightning-type cards
The event goes hand-in-hand with the new Holiday event, which requires players to log in for multiple days in a row to claim various different rewards.
It seems as is Mass Outbreak events are here to say as it seems to have been a hit amongst Pokémon TCG Pocket players trying to get more Wonder Hourglasses.
