Mew is one of the rarest Pokémon in all forms of the franchise, and that’s not different if you’re a TCG Pocket player.

Mew is one of the most mysterious Pokémon in existence. No one truly knows everything about this Mythical creature. Still, it is mighty powerful and popular, making Pokémon TCG Pocket players wonder how to get Mew for their collection.

The process might seem simple, but it can be a daunting task. We'll walk you through it.

How you can get a Mew card in Pokémon TCG Pocket

The first Mew card in Pokémon TCG Pocket is a secret Full Art card. You need it to complete some of the secret missions for Themed Collections in the game, but that itself is a tall order for anyone who might just stay free-to-play.

No matter which side of the transaction fence you fall on, though, getting this Mew is a possibility. You just have to complete the Kanto Pokédex. That means all original 150 Pokemon from the Kanto region must be pulled.

Thankfully, you don't have to pull all of the alternate cards. You just need to get one of each Pokémon in order to get Mew in TCG Pocket. If you pull a Full Art or a even a rare Promo card before the basic version, that counts as adding it to the Pokédex slot.

All 150 Kanto Pokémon to complete the Kanto Pokédex

Most Pokemon fans probably know the OG list that came from the Kanto region. This is where Ash Ketchum calls home and the setting for the original Red, Blue, and Yellow games.

If you're memory is missing a couple, though, we've got a list for you. Just know you'll need to open a lot of all three Genetic Apex packs for this to happen.
