Are your decks ready to battle your friends in Pokémon TCG Pocket?

Pokémon TCG Pocket allows players to battle their friends in real time using decks they have built from their card collection. And, lucky for players, adding your friends and battling them is only a few short steps away.

How to add friends in Pokémon TCG Pocket

In order to add your friends in Pokémon TCG Pocket, you'll need to follow a few simple steps:

  • Launch the game
  • Click the Social Hub tab, located at the bottom banner in the center button
  • Click on the friends button in the bottom left corner
  • From the Friends tab, click the + button in the top right corner to get your Friend ID that you can share with players to add you, or search for a friend's Friend ID in the search bar
  • After this, you can use the bottom navigation tab on the Friends screen to access requests you've sent or approve incoming friend requests

How to battle your friends in Pokémon TCG Pocket

Battling your friends is just as easy as adding them in Pokémon TCG Pocket. Here's how to get started battling:

  • Launch the game
  • Click the Battle button on the bottom banner, located second from the right
  • Click the Versus button on the left
  • Click the Private Match button on the left
  • Enter a unique password that you and your friend agree upon in the top search bar, this is how the game matches you together
  • Select your deck with the middle button
  • When ready, both players select "Battle!" at the same time (if you do encounter an error here, simply try again or restart the game if this happens multiple times)
