Have you tried using a Pikachu EX deck in Pokémon TCG Pocket?

Want to win every battle in Pokémon TCG Pocket? Well, it seems as if Pikachu EX is the current meta, making it one of the most difficult decks to win against. So, we have decided to put together our own Pikachu EX deck build for those looking to dominate when battling in Pokémon TCG Pocket.

All Pokémon cards in the Pikachu EX deck

This deck revolves heavily around Pikachu EX and is made up of only Electric-type Pokémon. To start, we included two Pikachu EX cards.

Pikachu EX's one attack does 30 damage for each Pokémon on your Bench and only requires two Energies to use. This makes the card incredibly efficient and quick to use.

All decks need more than two strong cards, however, and that is why we included two Zapdos EX cards. Zapdos's "Thundering Hurricane" move can do up to 200 damage per attack, making the Legendary bird a heavy hitter.

Next, we included two regular Pikachu cards and two Raichu cards. We will break down why we chose this evolution line further on in this article.

All Trainer cards in the Pikachu EX deck

This deck actually consists of more Trainer cards than Pokémon cards, as it has 12 Trainer cards for players to use strategically.

To begin, we included two Lt. Surge. Lt. Surge lets you stack Energies onto Raichu, whose main attack does 140 damage. The only downside to Raichu is it loses all of the Energies attached to it after using this attack. No problem, though, because Lt. Surge is there to take all the Enegeries from your Benched Pokémon and add them to your Raichu.

We also included two other Supporter cards, Professor's Research and Sabrina, and the basic X Speed, Poké Ball and Potion.

Best strategy to use with this deck

The best strategy for this deck is to get Pikachu EX on the field as fast as possible while stacking your bench with other cards. It should not be too difficult to get two Energies put onto your Pikachu EX, which is all it needs to use its main attack. Once your Bench is stacked, your Pikachu EX will be unstoppable.
