Picture this: You take down a boss in Path of Exile 2, and it showers you with items and currency. Great, but what if half of it is useless? Why bother picking up the waste? That's where item filters come in, and our friends at FilterBlade have completed work on an item filter for PoE2.
Here's how you can customize, install, and use an item filter in Path of Exile 2.

You can create your own PoE2 item filter, but by far the more popular option is to install one direct from the best in the game — FilterBlade. The Neversink FilterBlade PoE2 item filter will be everything a casual player needs and more.
To install the FilterBlade item filter for PoE2:
- Head to filterblade.xyz and navigate to Path of Exile 2.
- Once the page loads, select the "strictness" of the filter.
- For most players, regular or semi-strict will suffice.
- If you wish to customize further, select Styles or Modules and adjust as necessary.
- Styles allows you to customize colors and how items are displayed.
- Modules allows you to further customize the filter for specific items or types.
- Select "Export to PoE" and sign in with your account.
- Give the filter a name and select your platform (PC, Xbox, PlayStation).
- Select "Save & Sync," then restart/open PoE2.
- Open the Options menu, then the Game tab, then under General > Item Filter, select your filter from the drop-down.
- Press the refresh button to the right.
You're done! When you encounter rare items in the field, they'll be highlighted with larger font and different colors. Items of lesser value will be made smaller (or won't even appear at all)! You can toggle the item display by pressing Z.
Further adjustments can be made to the filter by heading back to the FilterBlade website and updating your preferences there. Then follow the above installation steps again to update it in-game.
