The Path of Exile 2 early access release is just around the corner, and developers have recently confirmed that Twitch drops will be featured to coincide with the game's first launch. Here is more on what you can expect to earn from the drops, when they will be available, and what you will need to do in order to earn them.
Path of Exile 2 Twitch drops: Everything you need to know
The Path of Exile 2 early access Twitch drops will run over a two-week period, offering players the chance to earn cosmetic items such as portals, flask effects, and even mounts. Here are all of the details, including what you need to do before watching.
What you can earn and how to earn it
In the first week of drops, which will run from December 6 through December 11, viewers can earn the Energising Bolt Flask Effect and Halo of the Righteous Helmet Attachment after watching three total hours of any channel streaming Path of Exile 2 during the first week of Early Access.
The second week offers the Temporal Lord's Portal Effect. Viewers can earn this the same way as the first week, between December 14-22.
Lastly, if you gift two Twitch subscriptions to a Path of Exile 2 streamer (not including Prime) during the two-week period, you can earn the Chimera pet mount. You can see this and all of the other drops in the video that developers put out below.

In order to earn these awesome rewards, you'll first need to connect your Twitch account. To do so, according to developers, you will need to "visit your Twitch Settings page while logged in. If your account isn't connected, click the "Connect" button for Twitch under "Other Connections". Please also make sure that the sub-account you’re linking with Twitch is the one that you want to receive the Drop on. Complete the process on Twitch and you will be redirected back to your Twitch Settings page. If your account is already connected, this page should say 'Your Path of Exile account is currently linked to your Twitch account.'"
After that, getting the drops should be fairly simple, as you will just need to do the following:
- Log in to your Twitch account.
- Visit any Twitch channel streaming Path of Exile 2.
- While the channel is live streaming Path of Exile 2, purchase a cumulative of two subscriptions of any tier to earn the Chimera Pet (Prime Subs are excluded).
