It's now Week 3 of the Overwatch Anniversary 2025 event! This week, players get to duke it out in the Totally Normalwatch game mode. Before jumping into the fray, however, it's a good idea to catch up on every hero's kit. Here’s everything to know about Overwatch 2's Totally Normalwatch patch notes plus all of the hero abilities. We also go over the Moira bug that makes her almost unkillable plus what to expect for Freja and Wuyang in this game mode.

What is Totally Normalwatch in Overwatch 2?

Totally Normalwatch is a limited-time game mode that's typically playable as a part of the annual April Fools' Day event. However, it's back now for the Overwatch Anniversary 2025 celebration. Folks can enter this game mode between Sept. 30 and Oct. 7. What's interesting about this iteration of Totally Normalwatch is the addition of Freja and Wuyang. These heroes weren't part of the Totally Normalwatch patch notes earlier this year since they joined the roster after April Fools' Day.

In terms of tank heroes, players can once again duke it out as a terrifying mini D.Va. Meanwhile, Mauga's ultimate lets him tether enemies to wherever he goes while Reinhardt enthusiasts can charge forever until he hits a wall. Below are all of the Totally Normalwatch patch notes for Overwatch 2's tank heroes.

Overwatch 2's Totally Normalwatch Moira bug

As for the damage heroes, if you've ever dreamed of riding Orisa into battle as Hanzo, then you're in luck. This hilarious feature is back! Moira, meanwhile, is now a damage hero instead of a support. At the time of writing this article, Moira's self-healing is glitched. This makes her almost unkillable. However, she can be taken down with massive burst damage plus team effort. Her ultimate also lasts for quite a while.

In terms of Freja, she's a new addition to Totally Normalwatch. Based on our observations and reports from the game's subreddit, her regular kit remains unchanged in this game mode.

Totally Normalwatch patch notes and abilities: Support heroes

Finally, we have the support heroes. Zenyatta can fire googly eyes instead of orbs again while mercy can fire random projectiles! As for Wuyang, his situation is similar to Freja's since there appears to be no changes to his regular kit in Totally Normalwatch. If anything changes, however, we'll keep you updated here.
