How to set Overwatch Account visibility public or private

Overwatch 2 is a game best played with friends. And quite often you might want to show off your profile stats to your friends or in general to the public. Here’s how to set your Overwatch 2 account visibility private or public. 

Keeping your account visibility private or public is a personal preference. While giving out your Overwatch data to third-party companies is not usually harmful, some might prefer not to do so.

Once you have changed the setting, just simply close the menu. The game automatically saves the settings and you should be good to go. 

Setting your profile visibility to public allows anyone on the internet with your profile details to view your stats. This means they can see your KDA, hours played, and much more. While this might not matter to some, there are others who wouldn’t want to share their gaming information with others. They can set their profile visibility to private.

In some cases, third-party stats websites would need you to change your profile visibility to public in order to read the data on your profile. One such example is Tracker.gg when you want to check how many hours you have spent in Overwatch.
