How to play Winston's Beach Volleyball in Overwatch 2
In Overwatch 2, Winston's Beach Volleyball is a three-versus-three (3v3) game mode where two teams must hit a volleyball back and forth between a net to score points. A point is earned whenever the volleyball hits the sand. The first team to earn 10 points wins the match.

Before starting a match, everyone gets to choose from 15 heroes. This year's options are D.Va, Winston, Ashe, Cassidy, Echo, Genji, Hanzo, Junkrat, Pharah, Soldier: 76, Sombra, Symmetra, Widowmaker, Baptiste, and Mercy.

Each hero has a mode-specific kit. Hanzo's melee, for example, lets him serve, pass, and set the volleyball. Once he charges his ultimate and activates it, he can move faster, jump higher, and hit the ball harder as well. The same applies to Genji and the rest of the heroes.

There are slight differences in terms of the rest of a hero's kit, however. For example, Hanzo has his Lunge and Wall Climb to gain an advantage. Meanwhile, Genji has Swift Strike and Cyber-Agility. Players who choose Symmetra can use her Teleporter ability to move around their net faster. Next, Echo and D.Va players can fly, Winston players can jump, and so on.

Players on each team get the chance to serve the volleyball. The strategy we went for was serving it in the direction opposite of the enemy Winston since Winston can jump pretty high with his Jump Pack ability.

We also made use of the green areas on our side of the net. These are jump pads that launch you high up when activated by pressing the space bar.

As Winston says in this game mode, 'There is no 'I' in ‘team.’" This rings true as you can assist your teammates in scoring points. If the volleyball doesn't look like it'll reach the other side of the net, you can give it a bump or pass it to a teammate who can help you get the job done.
