You can build your base in Once Human and base your operations from there. Inside the base, you can make new items, and gather resources. However, the game favors players who explore beyond their comfort zones. Exploring requires you to move farther and farther away from your base. The good news is that Once Human allows you to move your territory without any cost. Here’s how to move your Base (Territory) in Once Human.
- Go to the location you want to move your Base to
- Press B (Build Menu)
- Press Z
Doing this will bring a holographic overview of your base. You can move your mouse around to ensure it is feasible to move the base to this location. The game will let you know if moving the base to the new location is feasible with a green outline. Once the outline is green, you can simply left-click to place the base in its new location
Currently, the game allows only one base on the entire map. So you cannot simply leave your base behind and choose to build another base elsewhere. You need to move your base as you progress through the game.
