How to fix Once Human Can’t see Friends

Once Human is a game that features a world where an alien creature - Stardust infects everything on Planet Earth. This Stardust permeates through humans, animals, and plants alike. The open-world game is fun to play with friends and when you team up in a party. However, there are sometimes bugs that prevent you from seeing your friends in the game. Here’s how to fix Can’t See Friends in Once Human

There could be multiple reasons for your inability to see friends in Once Human. They range from network issues to game updates to graphics driver updates. However, most of these issues have a simple and easy fix. Following a few quick steps would ensure you can play the game without any problems. 

One of the first things you should do is to check whether your computer can handle the minimum system requirements of Once Human. If it does, and frankly, there’s little reason it shouldn’t, you can focus on checking whether your Graphics driver needs an update. 

If you have an Nvidia Graphics Driver you can open the Geforce Now App and then proceed to update the driver. Installing the latest version of graphics drivers ensures that there will not be any security issues once you launch the game. Nvidia and AMD usually come up with regular security updates to deal with any new unforeseen circumstances dealing with how applications run their drivers.

Check your Internet connection if it works at the optimal speed. Quite often, suboptimal internet speeds could result in resources loading slower and it might impact your ability to play the game at its optimal performance.

If it is showing less than optimal speeds, then we recommend restarting your router. To do this, you should do the following:

Going through these steps should hopefully fix the Can’t See Friends in Once Human issue. Once Human was released on July 9 and has had mixed reviews so far. The game does cause some overheating issues which might also be a reason for you being unable to see friends. The developers have already addressed this issue in their latest FAQ. They are working on the same and a fix should roll out in early August.
