Monster Hunter Wilds: What are the exact release times?

The month of February 2025 ends with a bang as Monster Hunter Wilds is the final major release in what has been a wild month for games. The highly-anticipated sequel in the storied franchise is set to release on Feb. 28 and is already acclaimed by critics and players alike thanks to its recent beta test. However, the full game delivers a plethora of additional content and more monsters to hunt.

Developer Capcom recently released a global map that shows all the launch times for Monster Hunter Wilds. However, you really only need this map if you're a PC player. Like so many other games, Monster Hunter Wilds is going to be a local midnight release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This means as soon as the clock hits midnight wherever you are located in the world, the game will be playable starting from there.

As for PC players, you're not as lucky, as you have to wait for midnight Eastern Time to start playing. To see exactly what time that is in your time zone, look at the list below:

As you can see on the map above, every time zone says the console release is 12 am while the PC release is at different times depending on how far away they are from the Eastern time zone. Technically, players in the Central and Pacific time zones can start playing Monster Hunter Wilds on Feb. 27 because they're behind Eastern time, but only by a few hours.

If you want to start playing as soon as your release time starts, make sure you preload Monster Hunter Wilds on whatever platform you're playing on. You can preload the game on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S if you have already pre-ordered it.
