How to get a Nether Stone in Mortal Kombat 1 Invasion Mode

Mortal Kombat 1’s Invasion Mode has plenty of paths to explore, but you may find some barred by the need for a Nether Stone.

Mortal Kombat 1's Invasion Mode is like a single player board game that has you complete challenges and win matches in order to unlock skins and other content. However, you’ll occasionally find your path barred by route that say they require a Nether Stone. But while these routes exist, it’s not immediately clear where to find a Nether Stone.

Luckily, we have you covered — Here’s how to get a Nether Stone in Mortal Kombat 1 Invasion Mode.

There are multiple ways to obtain a Nether Stone in Mortal Kombat 1’s Invasion Mode. The first method is to complete all the normal nodes in the Invasion mode. This means defeating all of the normal challenges ahead of heading down the paths that require a Nether Stone to pass.

The second is as a reward for defeating Scorpion in the Fire Temple on the Invasion board. It’s speculated that the Nether Stone is rewarded after defeating some bosses. Some players have reported receiving it as a reward after they defeated certain characters in other areas. As a result, it may be a drop from multiple bosses. Since this guide is written while the game is still in pre-release, and official release day isn’t for several more days, we’re not able to 100% confirm this. Ideally, just keep grinding Invasion Mode!

We'll also make sure we're updating this guide as soon as more solid information is release. Until then, check out our guide for Mortal Kombat 1 Invasion Mode Klues as well!
