The brawler combines straightforward attacks and somewhat tricky mechanics of buffing damage and movespeed. Trunk unleashes their true potential only after spreading ants around the Brawl Stars maps.
Trunk has a very unusual background. In fact, it’s a mechanical tree created by a bunch of very clever ants. They are up to revenge, and all other characters in Brawl Stars will feel the might of Trunk’s attacks!
The brawler is of the Epic rarity and belongs to the class of Tanks. In this Brawl Stars guide, you’ll find all sorts of helpful info about Trunk.
Revenge of ants! Who is Brawl Stars Trunk?
The official trailer of Trunk reveals their tragic fate. A love story of some ants got brutally abrupt by carefree Doug. While Brawl Stars characters were having fun, poor ants had to run for their lives.
They have had enough! The ants unite their effort and create Trunk, a mechanical tree. These insects put dangerous tools into their creation — to fight for their rights and win many Brawl Stars matches.
Guide: How to play Trunk in Brawl Stars
The main moveset of Trunk is rather simple, as you don’t need to aim properly for Basic and Super damage. Still, you should set the ground for your success with Trunk. While using the primary attacks, you spread ants across the map. When the brawler is near these little helpers, Trunk gets increased movespeed and higher damage.
- Main Attack, Ant Attack! — Trunk spins and damages nearby opponents. The edge of this spinning tree is more dangerous. Also, Trunk spreads ants around themselves.
- Super, Driven By Revenge (and Ants) — It’s a dash toward an opponent. Trunk bumps into their target and deals really high damage. They drop ants on the way.
Brawl Stars modes for Trunk
Trunk is somewhat slow without the ant support and may struggle from insufficient damage. Therefore, it is crucial for them to battle within the prepared setting.
- Such modes as Hot Zone or Gem Grab are very good for Trunk. You play within a specific area and don’t need to move around the map too much.
- In Showdown and Knockdown, it is a good idea to move closer to the central area. You need to spread ants on the final battleground.
- In Brawl Arena, Trunk is a laner. This brawler is not too good for roaming around.
Teams with Trunk
As a Tank brawler, Trunk is good at initiating fights. Opponents focus on them and spend their moves. After that, Assassin or Damage Dealer teammates can join the fun and deliver final blows.
Trunk benefits from having healing teammates as well. They get even more health to rush into the battles.

When does Trunk release in Brawl Stars?
The brawler is available in the game shop on Aug. 21 via the Early Access program. It comes with 5,000 Coins, 300 Gems, many pins, a spray, and the skin Swimming Trunk.
A bit later, you are able to unlock them for free via the Starr Road: the full release of Trunk in Brawl Stars is Aug 28.
Trunk joins Brawl Stars with a slight delay, as we expected them being added to the game sooner, right after Ali the Alligator. The developers from Supercell have abandoned the idea of Early Access, so Trunk is the last character available via this program. Perhaps, it means changes in the schedule of releasing new brawlers.
