Take a look at the ranking system in Honor of Kings (HoK) and how many wins you need to reach the highest tier, Grandmaster.

Honor of Kings (HoK) offers a Ranked Mode, a competitive 5v5 gameplay option designed for players seeking higher levels of challenge with Grandmaster rank as it's highest.

In this mode, players are assigned ranks based on their performance in ranked matches, with higher ranks earned through accumulating wins.

Similar to other competitive games, players receive valuable rewards based on the rank they have achieved at the end of each season.

Ranking system in HoK

There are seven main ranking tiers in HoK, each with their own sub-tier:

  1. Bronze (III, II, I)
  2. Silver (III, II, I)
  3. Gold (IV, III, II, I)
  4. Platinum (IV, III, II, I)
  5. Diamond (V, IV, III, II, I)
  6. Master (V, IV, III, II, I)
  7. Grandmaster
    - Grandmaster (0-24 Stars)
    - Mythic (25-49 Stars)
    - Epic (75-99 Stars)
    - Legend (Over 100 Stars)

Each Ranked season in HoK lasts for two months, with many freebies and exclusive items waiting for players who successfully reach higher Ranks.

Those who are able to reach Grandmaster in Season 5, for example, may claim “Gan & Mo - Love in War” skin and “S5 Grandmaster” title.

How Many Wins Do You Need to Reach Grandmaster in HoK?

To reach Grandmaster, in a simple way, you just need to keep winning in Ranked Matches. You will be rewarded a Star for each win, on the other hand, lose a Star when you lose.

In special cases, you will also be rewarded with two Stars if you have a Tier Double Star Card. You may also not lose a Star when losing, if you have a Tier Star Protection Card.

In addition, you can also collect a certain amount of Bravery Points to gain a Tier Double Star Card and Tier Star Protection Card.

Bravery Points can be gained from having a good attitude (not going AFK) and good performance (on Winning Streak and achieving Gold Medal) in Ranked Matches.

Each new player in HoK will start from the lowest rank: Bronze III. You will need a certain amount of Stars to be promoted to higher Rank, with each Rank requiring a different amount of Stars.

In conclusion, you need approximately 100 Stars or 100 Wins to reach Grandmaster Tier, and 100 more Stars if you want to reach the highest Rank, Legend. Keep in mind that these numbers may be lower if players use Tier Double Star Card and/or Tier Star Protection Card.

Also, after reaching the new season, players who already achieved a certain Rank won’t need to start over from Bronze, which means they will need less Stars to reach Grandmaster.

For example, if you are a Master V in the current season, you will be directly placed to Diamond IV in the new season.
