The collection of Brawl Stars characters gets an amazing addition. Finx is just a boy with an Anubis mask, but his powers are totally god-like!

Soon after the reveal of the Egyptian season, the Dark Sands covered Brawl Stars — they brought more fun and excitement. In addition to unique skins in the style of Ancient Egypt, the game gets a new brawler. Brawl Stars Finx is ready to shoot his magic projectiles and send those impudent opponents into the time anomaly.

In this article, you’ll find all the information about Finx in Brawl Stars: his moveset, release date, how to unlock for free, and more.

Moveset of Finx in Brawl Stars: Brawler breakdown

Finx is a Controller character, which means he has effective tools to face groups of opponents and deal damage within an area of effect. A weakness of this Brawl Stars class is one-on-one duels. Mind this if you play Finx.

  • Basic attack, Chronocast: Finx shoots three projectiles. The central one is the biggest, and it deals the most damage. The attack reaches far and covers a relatively wide space, so it’s easy to aim with it.
  • Super, Time Warp: This attack creates a time anomaly within a selected area. Projectiles of your opponents become slower inside it, and shots by you and your teammates are quicker.
  • Star Power 1, Primer: The Super attack works longer.
  • Star Power 2, Hieroglyph Halt: Finx hits opponents with his basic attack, and their reload speed becomes slower.
  • Gadget 1, Back To The Finxture: You can send Brawl Stars Finx back in time. He returns to his position from a few seconds ago and gets the ammo from back then.
  • Gadget 2, No Escape: If the next central projectile from Finx’s basic attack hits an opponent, they freeze in time. The victim can’t take any action, but they are fully protected from any damage.

Finx best build

This Brawl Stars new brawler is fully about projectiles and long-range battles. You should take this into account for your playstyle with Finx and for team compositions around the boy Anubis.

Also, the long-range archetype should affect the best build for Finx in Brawl Stars.

  • Star Power 1, Primer — It’s a great choice for massive team fights and to strengthen the projectile game.
  • Gadget 1, Back To The Finxture — This gadget is perfect for defensive play when you need to escape danger. Also, it can help with offense when you need to reload the basic attack quickly.
  • As for Gears, Speed and Vision are the best choices for Brawl Stars Finx. Speed lets him approach the shoot distance quickly and then escape short-range duels. Vision is effective when you chase an opponent, and they try to hide in grass.

How to play Finx: tips

The new brawler is pretty much universal in terms of Brawl Stars game modes. However, Finx is very sensitive to matchups.

  • Always keep a reasonable distance with Finx.
  • Even if the aim of Finx is not super demanding, you still should try to hit opponents with the central projectile.
  • To avoid unfavorable matchups, take Finx with short-range teammates, such as Buzz and Edgar.
  • Finx struggles against melee opponents, while his Super affects only projectiles.
  • Proper positioning and timing are very important for Finx. Activate it for massive team fights: to affect many opponents and to boost projectiles of many allies.
  • You need to know all Brawl Stars characters well to understand which of them have projectiles to benefit from Finx’s Super.
  • Having artillery allies, such as Dynamike or Juju, to shoot opponents within the area of Finx’s Super is a very good idea.
