The world of Brawl Stars has plenty of bushes and water obstacles — for Alli to hide in and attack her opponents unexpectedly. The alligator girl is friendly, but during the matches, she is terrifying!

If you like camping for your Brawl Stars opponents and then striking them to generate kills, Alli can be a great brawler for you. This Mystic Assassin enjoys crucial buffs in bushes and against injured victims. Alli is effective in various modes, specifically when teamed up with tanks and damage dealers.

Everything about how to play Alli in Brawl Stars and her best build is in this guide.

Brawl Stars Alli guide: Sneaky and deadly abilities

Just check out the Alli trailer above: it highlights the abilities of this brawler quite well. She enjoys hiding to then jump at her opponents and… yeah, unlikely just to say “Hi.”

Alli in Brawl Stars is a typical assassin. Her strikes are deadly, as her unique Trait provides extreme power-ups with special conditions.

In bushes, Alli has increased attack speed and range. It is a good idea to wait for opponents coming close carelessly, and then leap toward them. If a victim has less than 100% health, Alli becomes even quicker to chase them down.

Water is not an obstacle for Alli. Having ponds on Brawl Stars maps is an excuse for the brawler to attack opponents — “did you think you are safe here?” Sure, it’s also a decent defensive feature, when Alli needs to escape danger: it makes her similar to other brawlers, such as Shade.

Alli’s abilities explained

Check out the details on Alli’s kit in Brawl Stars.

  • Passive Trait: When Alli chases an injured opponent, she gains extra speed. The victim should have less than 100% health.
  • Main attack, Swamp Swipe: It’s a damaging dash forward. If Alli is in bushes, she leaps instead, gaining additional range and speed.

  • Super, Stalker: Alli enters the stealth state. She becomes invisible and can see opponents in bushes. Her following attack is more damaging, especially for opponents with high health.

The best build for Alli in Brawl Stars

With the following build, you emphasize Alli’s nature as an assassin.

  • Star Power 2, You Better Run, You Better Take Cover: When Alli senses a damaged victim (Alli is enraged), she reloads her main attack faster. It’s a great power-up not to let opponents escape their fate.
  • Gadget 1, Feed The Gators: With this Gadget activated, the next attack of Alli heals her for the damage dealt. Even assassins should keep themselves alive in dare moments of chase.

As for Gears for Alli, Speed and Damage can make her even deadlier.

The other Star Power is Lizard Limbs. It allows Alli to regenerate her health faster while chasing injured opponents. The second Gadget is named Cold-Blooded. When an opponent is on the screen, Alli can manually enter the enraged state: increased speed to chase damaged victims.

Brawl Stars modes for Alli. The best teammates

The modes where you can hide in bushes and wait for risky movement from your opponents are the best for Alli. She certainly can do this in Brawl Arena: leap on a victim when they try to farm minions. Also, Showdowns and Knockouts give this possibility.

It is a bit more challenging to play Alli in Brawl Stars when a mode requires being in an open space: like Hot Zone, Gem Grabs, or even Heist.

Brawl Ball and Hockey are rather unfavorable for this brawler.

As for teammates, you may want to partner with damage dealers. They create opportunities for Alli to trigger her Trait and deliver the final blow. Alli can wait for ranged attacks or massive slow moves to start the damage and then leap forward and earn a kill.

How to unlock Brawl Stars Alli for free

Traditionally, Brawl Stars added Alli to the game shop for a short initial period, where you can buy her for real-world money. In addition to the brawler, you receive pins, a spray, and the Hunter-Gatherer Alli skin.

Starting from July 3, you can unlock Alli for free, or rather for Brawl Stars internal currency: Credits.

  • As a Mythic brawler, Alli costs 1,900 Credits.

This price is certainly lower than you should pay for the Ultra Legendary brawler Kaze. Still, it’s quite a lot of Credits to earn via the revamped Trophy Road, character Mastery, and Brawl Pass tiers. It’s not a problem for active and enthusiastic Brawl Stars players, though.

Alli joins Brawl Stars with the season Legends of the Underworld. It’s themed around Ancient Greek Mythology. The next brawler coming to the game is Trunk, and Epic Tank. After a period of adaptation, we can see these characters being featured in pro matches of Brawl Stars Championship.
