Check out the esports.gg build guide on mastering the marksman hero revamp of Kimmy in Mobile Legends.

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) marksman hero Kimmy has received a revamp that could potentially allow her to be part of the meta again. Her main gameplay mechanics remain the same, but with an added Crowd Control effect. Needless to say, she is no longer just a "pew, pew" type of hero.

Before the revamp, her kit was always about just firing as many bullets as you can and hoping the enemy dies. She had a bit of mobility, but it was not enough to make her feel safe to use in a match. With her revamp, her Ultimate is no longer just a burst attack as it includes a slow and a vacuum effect. Her only mobility skill includes a slow immunity, a dash through walls, and a bit of movement speed.

To help you get familiar with the Kimmy revamp in MLBB, here is a guide that includes the best build, emblems, battle speed, combos, and hero counters.

Skill analysis for Revamp Kimmy in MLBB

Passive: Aerial Dominance

Kimmy can move and aim in different directions while using her Spray Gun, but cannot lock onto a specific enemy. Her attacks deal Magic Damage and restore a small amount of Starlium when hitting enemies, with heroes restoring more. At full Starlium, her Basic Attacks become enhanced to deal increased damage and pierce through targets.

Kimmy doesn't stop moving while shooting and doesn't benefit from Attack Speed; instead, every bit of Attack Speed gained is converted into Magic Power.

Skill 1: Anti-Grav Thruster

Kimmy uses her jetpack to take flight, removing and becoming immune to Slow effects. She can pass through terrain and gains a burst of Movement Speed for a short time.

During the flight, she fires multiple Chemical Bolts at nearby enemies, each dealing Magic Damage and briefly slowing them.

Skill 2: Starlium Beam

Kimmy fires a Starlium Beam in the target direction, immobilizing enemies in its path and dealing Magic Damage over a short duration. She gains Starlium for each enemy hero hit.

Ultimate: Traction Pulse

Kimmy charges and fires a Traction Pulse in a target direction. When it hits an enemy or reaches max range, it explodes, dealing Magic Damage to nearby enemies and creating a force field that heavily slows them.

After a short delay, the field contracts, pulling all enemy heroes to its center and dealing a portion of their current HP as Magic Damage. Kimmy gains Starlium for each enemy hero hit.

Kimmy is not your typical Physical Damage marksman because her attacks deal Magic Damage. Start with Arcane Boots for the Magic Penetration. Next, go for Feather of Heaven for additional damage with basic attacks. Go for Concentrated Energy next for the added Hybrid Lifesteal.

Once you reach the late game, you will need Blood Wings for the extra shield and massive Magic Power boost. If you are feeling confident, add more damage items like Divine Glaive and Holy Crystal. If you struggle to survive, change one of the late-game items with either Winter Crown or Immortality.

The Custom Mage Emblem is recommended for Kimmy as her attacks deal Magic Damage. For the first slot, go for Agility for a bit of Movement Speed. The second slot can be Bargain Hunter for cheaper item prices or Weapon Master to get extra stats from items. Weakness Finder is the perfect emblem for the final slot to slow down enemies hit with your attacks.

For the Battle Spell, you will want to have Sprint so you can keep firing while chasing down or running away from enemies. However, you can also go for Purify if the enemy has a ton of Crowd Control effects.

Easy combo tips to learn

Similar to Irithel, Revamp Kimmy can move while doing basic attacks. This makes her quite annoying in team fights or chases. The catch is that there's a slight delay before the direction of her attacks adjusts to match your aim, which can feel awkward or clunky, especially in high-pressure situations.

Keep in mind that Skill 1 allows you to vault through walls. This is different from regular dashes, as her jetpack lasts long enough for her to fly over thick walls. You can use this to outmaneuver enemies, even if they have the Flicker Battle Spell.

Always try and charge up your Starlium stacks so your basic attacks can penetrate enemies and hit multiple targets. Additionally, you can still gain Starlium stacks even if your enhanced basic attack is active. This means you can extend the duration as long as you can hit enemies.

Hero and item counters for Kimmy in Mobile Legends

Hero counters

Revamp Kimmy is still weak against enemies who can easily reach the back line, like Chou and Hayabusa. A tank that can give Kimmy a taste of her medicine is Lolita as because of her deflector shield.

Item counters

There is little you can do to counter Kimmy with items. For tanks, you can go for Radiant Armor or Athena Shield. Balde Armor is also good as it can reflect a portion of the damage you receive.

For other roles, the best you can do is stay away from Kimmy. Otherwise, you can go for Immortality or Winter Crown.
