Check out the esports.gg build guide on mastering the tank hero revamp of Gloo in Mobile Legends.
Gloo has been one of the most underutilized heroes in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) until he received a revamp, which made him a menace in the Land of Dawn. The revamp is not that big compared to Hanzo's or Kimmy’s. However, it fixed a few problems that prevented Gloo from fitting in the meta.
What makes this hero shine is his ability to attach himself to enemies. Attached enemies will receive a portion of the damage he receives in the process. If you are aware of his kit, you would probably avoid attacking when he is attached to your ally. However, most players have no idea of this and would unintentionally kill their allies. This is what makes him such an annoying tank to deal with in the game.
With that said, here is a guide for Revamp Gloo in MLBB, including the best build, emblems, battle speed, combos, and hero counters.
Skill analysis for Revamp Gloo in MLBB
Passive: Stick Stick
Enemies gain a stack of Sticky each time they're hit by Gloo's skills, reducing their Movement Speed for a few seconds. Stacks can accumulate several times. Each stack also decreases the damage that the enemy deals to Gloo.
Skill 1: Slam, Slam
Gloo reaches out and slams the ground, dealing Magic Damage to enemies. At the final location, a Goo is left behind that explodes after a short delay, dealing Magic Damage to nearby enemies and briefly immobilizing them.
If Gloo touches the Goo, it explodes immediately, resets the skill's cooldown, and heals Gloo if the explosion hits an enemy, with increased healing if it hits a hero.
Skill 2: Spread, Spread
Gloo splits into Goos, dealing Magic Damage to enemies in a fan-shaped area and briefly immobilizing them. While split, Gloo gains increased Movement Speed and continuously deals Magic Damage to enemies it touches for a short duration.
If this skill hits a Goo, Gloo will charge over to merge with it, dragging enemies along the way.
Ultimate: Grab, Grab
Unlocked when an enemy hero has full Sticky stacks. Gloo attaches itself to the target enemy hero for a limited time, recovering a portion of its Max HP.
During this period, Gloo’s Basic Attacks deal Magic Damage, and it transfers most of the damage it receives (excluding turret damage) to the host. If the target dies while Gloo is attached, the skill’s cooldown is significantly reduced.
Best Gloo item build in MLBB
Use this recommended item build for Revamp Gloo in Mobile Legends:

Gloo works best if you keep moving and sticking close to your enemies. Start with Tough boots to reduce the duration of any Crowd Control you receive. Follow it up with Cursed Helmet for the burn effect on nearby enemies. Add another burn effect to your attacks with Glowing Wand, and also reduce the healing they receive.
Once you've got your core items, you can go for more defensive items like Dominance Ice, Athena's Shield, and Antique Cuirass. If you have a healer on your team, you can replace one of the late-game items with Oracle. If you keep dying, go for Immortality.

Recommended emblem and battle spell for Gloo
This emblem set should complement the item build for Revamp Gloo in Mobile Legends:

For the Emblem set, go for the Custom Common Emblem. However, you can also go for the Tank Emblem if you want. Focus on mobility and pick Agility on the first slot. On the second one, select the Wilderness Blessing to increase your movement speed while in the jungle or river. Lastly, pick Impure Rage on the final slot for a bit of damage.
As for the Battle Spell, you can use Sprint for the Movement Speed and Slow Immunity effect. Alternatively, you can use Vengeance for the Damage Reflect and Reduction or Flicker for more mobility.
Easy combo tips to learn
The combo for Gloo is fairly straightforward. All you have to do is stay close to your enemies and bombard them with attacks to gain Sticky stacks.
Once you have enough stacks, use your Ultimate to attach yourself to them. They will slowly lose HP, and if their allies don't know how this mechanic works, a portion of the damage you receive will be dealt to the enemy you are attached to.

Keep in mind that you can also use your abilities while attached to enemies. You can throw your Skill 1 towards your allies and leave a Goo, and use your Skill to hit the Goo and dash towards the target location. This will bring you close to your allies so they can focus their attacks on the enemy you are attached to.
Hero and item counters for Gloo in Mobile Legends
Hero counters
Heroes that can deal high amounts of damage are good counters. Yu Zhong deals damage based on the enemy's HP. Another good candidate is Faramis, whose Skill 2 can bounce to enemies. It's a broken mechanic that can hurt Gloo a lot when he is split into multiple Goos.
Item counters
You can slow down Gloo's sustain power by building items like Sea Halberd for Physical Damage heroes, Glowing Wand for Magic Damage, and Dominance Ice for tanks.
