Check out our guide on mastering Miya the marksman hero in MLBB.

Miya is one of the popular picks in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) due to having deadly late-game scaling and easy-to-use mechanics. Unlike most marksmen with unique mechanics that can be a bit tricky to pull off, Miya’s main combo is simply to spam basic attacks until the enemy is dead. Adding to this, her attacks can be enhanced to hit multiple enemies, making her even more annoying in team fights.

However, she does have her own weakness. One of the biggest drawbacks is that she doesn’t have much mobility and can easily be picked off. This is why you need to be careful when using this hero, especially in the early game.

Here is a guide for the marksman hero Miya in MLBB, including the best build, emblems, battle speed, combos, and hero counters.

Skill analysis for Miya in MLBB

Passive: Moon Blessing

Each time Miya hits a target with her Basic Attack, she gains a small boost to Attack Speed for a few seconds, stacking several times. At full stacks, each Basic Attack summons a Moonlight Shadow that deals Physical Damage and inherits part of her Attack Effects.

Skill 1: Moon Arrow

Miya shoots two additional arrows with each Basic Attack for a short duration. These arrows deal Physical Damage to the main target and reduced damage to nearby enemies. Each extra arrow also inherits part of her Attack Effects.

Skill 2: Arrow of Eclipse

Miya launches an empowered arrow at a target area, dealing Physical Damage and briefly immobilizing enemies hit. The arrow then splits into several smaller arrows that each deal Physical Damage to the first enemy they hit and slow them for a short duration.

Ultimate: Hidden Moonlight

Miya removes all debuffs and conceals herself, gaining increased Movement Speed for a short time or until she attacks. After leaving this state, she instantly gains full stacks of Moon Blessing.

For the brave players out there, you can swap out Swift Boots with Corrosion Scythe. This provides a stacking Attack Speed boost and slows enemies hit by attacks. However, without boots, Miya will be very slow, and you will most likely become a sitting duck in team fights.

For the general build, you can start with Swift Boots for the extra Attack Speed. Then, go for Windtalker for the ricochet effect. Follow it up with Berserker's Fury for a massive Crit Damage boost.

In the late game, go for a bit of sustain like Haas' Claws before going for Malefic Gun for the Attack Range boost. For the final item, you can go for Blade of Despair to increase your damage on low HP enemies.

If you find yourself dying a lot, swap your last item with either Wind of Nature for a temporary Physical Damage Immunity or Rose Gold Meteor for a bonus shield.

For the first slot, go for Fatal to get extra Crit Chance and Damage. The second slot can be Bargain Hunter for cheaper items in the shop, or Weapon Master to increase the stats provided by items. In the final slot, pick Quantum Charge for the extra movement speed and a bit of sustain.

As for the Battle Spell, Inspire is the most recommended one for Miya. This will grant a massive Attack Speed boost, and your attacks will ignore a bit of your target's defense. Furthermore, you also heal with each basic attack over the duration.

Easy combo tips to learn

The combo for Miya in MLBB is pretty straightforward. However, you need to be careful when using your abilities, as you barely have any mobility or escape options.

Before joining a fight, you will have to make sure that your Ultimate is ready. If your teammates have already started the fight and you have a vision of assassins that can potentially jump you, use your Ultimate and go guns blazing. Don't forget to use your Skill 2 to stun enemies and Skill 1 to make your basic attacks hit up to three enemies.

However, if you can't see any of the enemy heroes that can potentially pick you off, save your Ultimate. If they do focus their attacks on you, use your Ultimate immediately to break free from any Crowd Control and escape as you become invisible.

Keep in mind that Miya's Ultimate is not just a stealth effect like Natalia. She literally becomes invisible to enemies so they won't see where you are going. The effects wear off after a brief period or if you get hit by attacks.

Hero and item counters for Miya in MLBB

Hero counters

As mentioned in the combo tips, Miya is weak against heroes that can easily dive into the back line. Heroes like Natalia, Hayabusa, Karina, and Fanny are her hard counters. If you are a marksman, consider long-range heroes like Clint or Lesley, as they can easily poke Miya in the laning phase.

Item counters

For items, marksman heroes will most likely have to build Wind of Nature for the temporary damage immunity and pray it lasts long enough for you or your team to get rid of Miya.

When it comes to tank and fighter heroes, Dominance Ice, Antique Cuirass, or Blade Armor are good options. For Mages and Supports, Winter Crown is a safe option.
