It’s time to slice and dice while using some silver bullets.

Blade is the newest hero to join Marvel Rivals, and he's a stylish duelist wielding his Ancestral Sword and Hunter's Shotgun. His overall kit also allows for close-range power and survivability to the battlefield. However, what exactly does his kit entail? Read on for everything you need to know about Blade's abilities, ultimate, and team-ups in Marvel Rivals.

Marvel Rivals Blade abilities

  • Ancestral Sword (Normal attack, Left-click): Slash forward with Blade's melee weapon. This deals damage per slash, with its double strike splitting the damage across two hits.
  • Hunter's Shotgun (Normal attack, Left-click): Fire a projectile that breaks into shrapnel, dealing damage at a distance.
  • Scarlet Shroud (Right-click): Parry with Ancestral Sword to become unstoppable briefly, reduce incoming damage, and decrease Daywalker Dash's cooldown.
  • Daywalker Dash (Shift): Dash forward to damage enemies. If Blade is wielding his sword, he slows targets. If he's wielding his gun, he applies healing reduction.
  • Bloodline Awakening (E): Boost slash speed temporarily and gain lifesteal, but reduce self-healing.
  • Thousand-Fold Slash (Ultimate, Q): Dash forward with a powerful sword strike, leaving a damaging slash zone that reduces enemy healing.
  • New Moon (Team-up C): Cloak & Dagger create a Light & Dark Realm, making Moon Knight and Blade invisible and gain healing over time. Blade can also use a dash attack called Swift Strike on a target.

Ancestral Sword and Hunter's Shotgun are Blade's weapons, and the former lets Blade slash forward to strike either once or twice. Meanwhile, the latter fires a projectile to deal damage at a distance. Another ability, Bloodline Awakening, boosts his slash speed briefly, grants lifesteal, and reduces self-healing.

As for Blade's right-click, it's Scarlet Shroud, which lets him parry with his Ancestral Sword to briefly become unstoppable. Scarlet Shroud also reduces incoming damage, and decreases the cool down of Daywalker Dash.

Speaking of Daywalker Dash, this one has different effects depending on Blade's current weapon. If Blade does Daywalker Dash while wielding Ancestral Sword, then he slows targets. If he's wielding Hunter's Shotgun, then he applies healing reduction.

Thousand-Fold Slash is Blade's ultimate. For fans of Vergil from the Devil May Cry franchise, this may look familiar. After pressing Q, Blade charges power and draws the Sword of Dracula to dash forward with a powerful sword strike. He also leaves a trail of slashes that reduces enemy healing.

Finally, when pressing C for a team-up for the New Moon team-up, Blade goes invisible and gains healing over time. He can also do a targeted dash attack during this team-up.
