Learn about whether or not Marvel Rivals really does have any sort of early access.

Season 1 of Marvel Rivals is rapidly approaching, and fans are gearing up for a massive content drop. This includes four new heroes coming from the Fantastic Four franchise along with a fresh Battle Pass and even some hero balancing. Naturally, players want to experience this content as quickly as possible, which has some asking about possible early access to Season 1 in Marvel Rivals.

Other hero shooters have often implemented a test server that allows players to experience and find issues with new content arriving. The test server goes live with the new content a few days prior to a major update, such as a fresh season.

If you're wondering about any of that, you're in the right place. Below, you can see about a potential test server in Marvel Rivals and whether any early access exists for Season 1.

Does Marvel Rivals have early access for Season 1?

Players began to really start to ask about Season 1 early access after seeing popular streamers and content creators get to play with the new heroes a few days before the season's release date. Streamers got the ability to test out the Fantastic Four heroes and showcase their abilities to whoever was watching.

Unfortunately, this is a privilege that only streamers and creators get to enjoy. The general player base has no way to access Season 1 of Marvel Rivals early. Streamers will likely continue to get early access before major updates so they can get the community more excited about what's coming.

Of course, this can have negative effects as well. Players typically don't like seeing streamers get special privileges but the fact of the matter is it raises awareness and hype for whatever new content they're showcasing. So you can expect to see streamers using new heroes before they're officially released in the future.

Is there a test server in Marvel Rivals?

Contrary to what some players say online, there is no public test server available in Marvel Rivals. You can't download a separate application to access a server with specifically new content available on it. You also can't access any sort of additional server in the game itself.

However, once again, there is a test server that streamers and content creators gain access to before a big update. This is where they showcase the new content and get footage to show their audiences. The private test server is reserved for content creators only and goes live a few days before a major update.

Perhaps Marvel Rivals will make a public test server in the future so players can join streamers in early access, but for now, the developers at NetEase Games have not announced anything of that nature.
