The Thing is known for his classic orange appearance, where he's just a man made of rocks. That doesn't mean he hasn't put on a new costume or two in his day. With his launch in Marvel Rivals, The Thing has a couple of skins you can get your hands on.
Don't worry, he won't be unrecognizable like some other characters. He's still good old Ben Grimm under there. So, let's dive in to what skins you'll be able to choose from when he arrives during the second half of Season 1.

Two members of the Fantastic Four launched with an additional skin compared to some others. Invisible Woman and Human Torch both have a ranked reward skin you can obtain for reaching Gold in Season 1's competitive mode.
Mister Fantastic and The Thing, however, do not have that skin as a reward. They simply have their default, a small bonus skin, and their first bundle. The Thing, at launch in Marvel Rivals, has one of his iconic looks available.

The Thing's launch skin through the Trench Coat bundle is a classic appearance of his. It was first seen in Fantastic Four #1 all the way back in 1961. As well, he has worn it in live action movies and several other comic runs over the years.
It doesn't appear that this or the First Family costume will exit the game at any point. So, you can save up your Units to get your hands on either of them if you plan on playing as The Thing after he launches in Marvel Rivals.
