Ma Meilleure Ennemie gives us more Arcane goodness, months after Season 2 concluded.

Fortiche's latest masterpiece is the music video for Stromae and Pomme's Ma Meilleure Ennemie. Like the show, the Ma Meilleure Ennemie MV was dense with details you missed. This is for you, Arcane and Timebomb fans.

Throughout the whole music video, the scenes of alternate universe Powder and Ekko are playing through a screen behind the pair. This is a callback to the Enemy music video. Various shots of grown-up Jinx and Ekko are played on a projector, while the kid versions of Ekko and Powder dance and have fun in the foreground.

In the beginning, Jinx is shown lying on the floor surrounded by confetti. This is not only a parallel to her scene in the cell in Arcane S2 episode 9, but the confetti implies that she's "fallen." More on this later.

32 seconds in, Jinx now has bugs on her face. These are the same bugs that she had in her mouth in Enemy. Additionally, this scene is also a reference to Pomme's album, À peu près. Even the position of the bugs is on point. In the MV, Jinx sings Pomme's lines.

This is followed by another album reference; Ekko surrounded by multiple Jinxes. It bears a heavy resemblance to the back cover of Multitude, Stromae's third and most recent album. Stromae's lines are sung by Ekko in the MV.

Afterwards, we get another callback! Ekko and Jinx are lying down together now, facing each other. Jinx is getting the same experience as Vi did with Caitlyn, albeit the latter pair were upside down. The symbolism here could be that Ekko and Jinx faced similar hardships and turmoil, hence the mirrored position, while Vi and Caitlyn were opposites of each other, and were more of a yin and yang.

At 1:14, Jinx starts "falling" upward, and so does the confetti around her. This implies that her experience may be more literal and that she has more connection to the world around her.

Of course, once she "reaches" the top, it becomes crystal clear that she jumped off and that Ekko had rewound time. The Boy Savior is, of course, by Jinx's side when her fall is undone.

This is literally the same scene in Arcane Season 2 Episode 9 when Ekko prevented her fall. In fact, she fell in the exact same way! She didn't have an explosive in the music video though, and Jinx was instead clutching her heart.
