This year's League of Legends World Championship (LoL Worlds 2025) event will kick off on Oct. 14 and run through Nov. 9, and only the best teams will compete for a chance at making esports history. LoL Worlds 2025 schedule

Above is the LoL Worlds 2025 schedule. The esports action will begin with the Play-In Stage on Oct. 14. This will be followed by the Swiss Stage happening from Oct. 15 to Oct. 25. The Knockout Stage will then take place from Oct. 28 to Nov. 2 before the competition will conclude with the Grand Final on Nov. 9.
LoL Worlds 2025 matches
T1 and Invictus Gaming (IG) will duke it out in a Play-In match under the Fearless Draft and best-of-five (Bo5) format on Oct. 14. This will be followed by best-of-one (Bo1) and best-of-three (Bo3) matches in the Swiss Stage between Oct. 15 and Oct. 25. All of the elimination and advancement matches in this stage will be Bo3 under Fearless Draft. Next, the Knockout Stage will consist of the Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and the LoL Worlds 2025 Grand Final. These matches will all be Bo5 ones under Fearless Draft as well.

LoL Worlds 2025 location
In terms of the LoL Worlds 2025 location, there will be three in total. The Play-In Stage will take place at the Beijing Smart Esports Center. This venue will also host the Swiss Stage. Then, the Knockout Stage will move to the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai before and the esports action will conclude with the Grand Final at the Dong'an Lake Sports Park Multifunctional Gymnasium in Chengdu.
