League of Legends: Swarm has nine playable champions, check out how to unlock all of them!

The League of Legends Swarm game mode provides a wide choice of hand-picked Anima Squad Champions to play as! Here's how to unlock all champions in LoL Swarm.

LoL Swarm: All playable champions

Each character has a starting weapon, a passive skill, and active skills unique to them.

Jinx

Battle Cat Jinx is one of the two champions that are unlocked at the start of LoL Swarm. Her passive gives her a lot of Movement Speed and Ability Haste for a limited time after killing 75 enemies.

Seraphine

Battle Dove Seraphine is also unlocked by default at the start of LoL Swarm. Her passive gives her occasional multi-cast and her active skills are on the supportive side.

Leona

Battle Lion Leona is unlocked by upgrading the Searing Shortbow weapon to level 2. To do this, simply choose Searing Shortbow twice in a single run. Leona's passive rewards her tanky stats with extra damage.

Illaoi

Battle Bear Illaoi becomes available after you upgrade Radiant Field to level 4. Here's a step-by-step, assuming you have no progress at all:

  1. Use the Health Fountain in the Warehouse District map four times. This unlocks Radiant Field for all your future runs.
  2. Pick up Radiant Field at least four times on your next run.

Illaoi's kit in LoL Swarm is the most different from all the other champions. She does not basic attack, instead, she spawns tentacles on the ground that hit nearby enemies.

Briar

Primordian Briar unlocks once you beat The Outskirts map and defeat its boss. Doing this also unlocks the Subterranean Lab map. Primordian Briar in LoL Swarm takes a lot from the playable Briar in League of Legends.

Yasuo

Battle Wolf Yasuo unlocks as a playable champion in LoL Swarm after you beat the Subterranean Lab map and defeat its boss. Doing this also unlocks The Beachhead map. Again, like the LoL counterpart, Battle Wolf Yasuo has great synergy with Crit.

Riven

For Battle Bunny Prime Riven to be a playable champion in LoL Swarm, you must beat the boss on Warehouse District on Hard difficulty. Fit for her Bunny role, Riven in Swarm demands a lot of movement speed.

Aurora

The newest LoL champion, Aurora, is also on Swarm as Battle Bunny Aurora. To unlock her, you must defeat 25 mini-bosses in Hard mode. This should happen naturally - the mini-bosses are the huge enemies that look like Kog-Maw, Nocturne, or Ornn's Ram.

Xayah

Battle Bunny Xayah is the most difficult champion to unlock in LoL Swarm. Xayah unlocks by completing Bel'Veth Trials.

  1. Beat The Beachhead in Story difficulty. This unlocks the Hard difficulty.
  2. Survive at least 5 minutes on any Hard difficulty map. This unlocks Bel'Veth Trials.
  3. Complete 20 Bel'Veth Trials. These can spawn on any map and are announced game-wide when appear.

Swarm is live with LoL patch 14.14. It's scheduled to end on August 19, 2024, but Riot Games has expressed openness to extending the Swarm's availability.
