The Van -1 error is pretty simple. It means while League of Legends was trying to launch, it couldn't find the Vanguard program. If you don't think you've uninstalled Vanguard, double check. Riot Games' best official solution is to just attempt to reinstall Vanguard. The easiest way to do this is to close League of Legends and try to patch again. If this doesn't work, try installing either of Riot Games' titles that include Vanguard. If you don't want to delete League of Legends but want to try to force your computer to install Vanguard, you can always install VALORANT.
